MOSAIC (Association of women) and Sixth Sense organisation organised donations drive to families of refugees and displaced persons, art workshop for children, and informative round-table discussion with policy-makers, children, youth and religious leaders, in Visoko and Doboj Municipality.
The GNRC-Colombia celebrated the International Day For the Eradication of Poverty in Soacha (Cundinamarca Province) with women of the Growing Up Together project, by organising an event for 50 women care-givers and several children. The event, themed, “Supporting Each Other, We Can Make a Difference”, aimed at promoting generosity and sharing as a means to reduce poverty in the community.
In Bukavu, South Kivu, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Laissez L’Afrique Vivre (LAV) organised a 2-day event with the local theme “Tuamuwe Sote Na Kutenda Ili Tupiganishe Umaskini Katika Jamaa Zetu na kwa Congo yetu Nzima.”
Three organisations held various Childs life events in different parts of Kenya. The event activities included inter-faith prayers and presentations by children on self-defense, cultural songs, dances and poems about child poverty eradication, community meetings, youths training and donations drive.
