During this year’s International day for the Eradication of Poverty, REJADH youth from Burundi; organized a series of events in Bwengenyabwo Cultural Center, involving (30 children, (10) Religious leaders, (10) Educationists and educators and (10) child representatives. The event dubbed ‘let’s stop and say no to violence against children in Burundi’, aimed at creating awareness to the children of their rights and thus be able to defend themselves by speaking about it. They also organized Folk dances and plays to showcase the violations of the rights of children. A message was sent by the children urging parents and decision makers of the need for the protection and promotion of children's rights by changing policies to suit the needs of the children positively. The challenge prompted parents and teachers to commit to protect the Children against violence.
