Defining a World Free of Child Poverty through Photography
End Child Poverty seeks to create a world free of child poverty. We therefore organise, support and coordinate numerous campaign actions during the month of October and specifically on the 17 October every year during the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
End Child Poverty strongly maintains the position that in order to be effective, any poverty eradication initiative ought to go beyond conventional economic approaches to succeed. The measures must address not only the systemic structures, but also the root causes of the problems in the human heart, which stem from attitudes and perceptions.
This year, with the theme; Answering the Call of October 17 to End Poverty: A path toward peaceful and inclusive societies; Arigatou International, through its End Child Poverty initiative, would like to interact with you and ask you to show us your view of how you envision a world free of child poverty.
The IDEP Photo Contest (“Photo Contest”) is open to all who have reached the age of majority (18 years of age in most countries) in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry. Employees, interns, or partners of End Child Poverty, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of employees, are not eligible to enter.
