"Peace is built by human beings, and human beings are built from their hearts."
- Rev. Takeyasu Miyamoto, founder of Arigatou International
The International Day of Peace is marked on 21 September, every year, all over the world. We use this date as an opportunity to remind the world that conflict affects children in the most and worst way. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. We support and coordinate common actions in collaboration with our partners.
