My uncle died in war. I don’t want to die in war like him. Let us have peace”. This heartfelt cry was one among many, made by the children of South Sudan at the colourful launch of the “Phase One Implementation of the USSWAK Children’s Peace Ambassador’s Project”, in Nairobi, on Saturday, 2nd May 2015.
Several students who received partial sponsorship through the End Child Poverty scholarship programme completed their primary and secondary school education studies. These included students from Hands of Grace, Juba, South Sudan and Amani Village of Hope, Siaya, Kenya.

End Child Poverty (ECP) partnered with Maisha Kara Trust (MKT) to refurbish a bathing area and a kitchen at the Kizurini Special Unit for children with disabilities. The special unit was established as a boarding facility, which caters for thirty-six children.
