Arigatou International — Nairobi together with the Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), will host the Action! Seminar from 1 – 5 October 2018, in Sagana, Kenya. This is in collaboration with our partners, including, Changemaker-Oslo and the Elman Peace and Human Rights Centre.
The 2018 Action! Seminar presents opportunity for mentorship, training, planning, shared learning and networking, among young leaders from the African Children and Youth Network for Human Rights / Réseau des Enfants et Jeunes Africains pour les Droits Humains (REJADH). This seminar forms part of our broader work to end violence against children, by advocating for the reduction, prevention and elimination of Gender Based Violence (GBV).
The 2018 Action! Seminar will spur the REJADH young leaders to mentor their peers and amplify this advocacy work in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, South Sudan and Somalia. Action! 2018 is our 3rd Regional Forum on Advocacy against Gender Based Violence (GBV).
