End Child Poverty has partnered with Hands of Grace in sponsoring fifteen war-affected and orphaned children in South Sudan. This project is driven by the realization that in poor and conflict-ridden countries like South Sudan, education is not accessible to majority of children despite being a vital tool for development.
Rev. Fred Nyabera, End Child Poverty Director visited some the above-mentioned children to monitor their progress and plan for the up scaling and strengthening of the programme.
The End Child Poverty scholarship programme aims to ensure that orphaned, vulnerable and those children affected by war and violent conflicts are afforded the opportunity to get an education. The program will later be extended to Pakistan and South Africa.
