Sophie SAFI MAMBOPhoto submitted by Sophie Safi Mambo. The photo depicts Sophie with a group of children. She see’s herself as a draftswoman of smiles, as Mother Theresa has said people are more in lack of love than in lack of bread. She believes poverty is a life without reasons to smile, and has dedicated her life to this end. Where Sophie is from, you see that violence and war have taken precious things from some children such as parents, family, home, etc. So she uses her time to restore their hopes and bring them the warmth that is in her heart to prove to them that they can be loved and that smile is something that life cannot take away from them.
