Photo submitted by BUSIME ALYAHAMWABO DOUCE. The photographer believes “If you get chance to make someone happy or just smiling, do it rather than waiting to get rich before doing so for those who are really in need”. The only moment that my life gives meaning to existence is when I spend my time exchanging/talking to these poor and vulnerable children. This world has taken them away their happiness for a moment, but it’ll never be able to take away people like you and me. They are victims of bad policies and we have to be carrying hope in their hearts. Their courage to face challenges that surround them is a proof that it still possible for them to live in a world without poverty, a world in which it’s better to live. I carry with me the passion to devote my time, my energy and resources to make them happy and tireless to hope for a prosperous future. Your efforts, my efforts and our efforts will increase local capacity and put an end to the poverty which is a scourge..
